Lower Haight Art Walk Friday
Mark your calendars, gang -- the summer edition of the Lower Haight Art Walk hits the neighborhood this Friday night, August 6th. And by the looks of things, the event is going to be bigger and better than ever.

More than 20 shops, restaurants, and bars will be open from 7-10pm to host live music and art parties, serve up refreshments, and of course, offer all sorts of discounts. Highlights include: For a full list of participants, pick up a free Art Walk flyer at D-Structure, Lower Haters, Revolver, Memphis Minnies, Trunk, or Idle Hand. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! There are three fantastic new additions that are gonna make this Art Walk... well... fantastic. FOOD CARTS! Inside different shops and galleries around the Lower Haight, you'll find some of the city's most delicious, desserty food carts, including Mad4Madeleines, The Chai Cart, and Luscious Liquids. Kara's Cupcakes Karavan will also be parked in the 'hood! SCAVENGER HUNT! The Art Walk's organizers have conjured up the event's first-ever scavenger hunt. Follow fun clues and find hidden spots around the neighborhood, and you could walk away with a $100 cash prize. Get more details and sign up over at lowerhaight.org. AFTERPARTY! When the Art Walk winds down around 10pm, head over to Nickies for the official afterparty. Expect drink specials and an art raffle to help end the evening right. So here's what you should do now: RSVP on the Art Walk's Facebook page, tell your friends about it, and get ready for an amazing night. We'll see you there.
