Is there such a thing as a zombie restaurant?
Reader Chris L. tips us to this notice posted on the door of RNM yesterday. RNM, which closed two months ago (ostensibly for "renovations", but actually for good) -- has also somehow been "operating without a valid permit," according to the Department of Public Health. Now, either this is a violation that pre-dates RNM's closure, or the Department isn't aware that RNM is no longer in operation. Or our preferred theory: that RNM is secretly still in business, speakeasy-style, behind those frosted windows. As usual, we'll keep you updated.
