
Here’s a roundup of some Lower Haight news stories that didn’t quite make it to the front page this week.
- When SFO's new Terminal 2 opens in just under three weeks, it'll feature at least a couple of vendors with Lower Haight ties. SFGate's Paolo Lucchesi reports that Terminal 2 will include a market selling Three Twins ice cream, as well as a "quick-service" version of Burger Joint (whose Lower Haight location closed in August).
- 7x7's 2011 Dog Poll is down to 7 finalists, with the winner becoming Grand Marshal of the Duboce Park Dogfest on April 16th. Polls close on Friday, so if you've got a dog in this fight, get a-votin'.
- A new website called Tutorspree is offering a discount for Haighteration readers. The site is basically an online marketplace for learning new skills -- so, for example, if you'd like to learn how to play guitar or speak spanish, you can find nearby tutors using Tutorspree. Just enter coupon code "LOWERHAIGHT" at checkout for $25 off your first tutoring lesson.
- Need a job? Uva Enoteca is looking for a new line cook.
- Meanwhile, Wak Shack Salon is looking for a new assistant.
- Also, Memphis Minnie's is looking for a new cashier.
