A few readers asked us to follow up on a story we posted in May about AT&T's plans to install new antennas on the roof of 255 Steiner, given some rumors floating around that the project may have been scrapped.
Well, here's your update!
On Friday, AT&T rep Lane Kasselman told Haighteration that they "have no plans to scrap [their] proposed antenna," and that the company is currently awaiting a hearing date from the Planning Commission. Kasselman added that the project "will greatly improve service in the Haight," and that they're hoping to get it online as soon as possible. We'll keep you posted!
