Lower Haight Summer Art Walk Coming Next Saturday

Save the date, mate -- it's time for another Lower Haight Art Walk. But this one has a big twist!

Unlike all recent Art Walks, this one will not be held on a Friday night. Instead, it will take place next Saturday, August 6th -- and it'll be in the daytime, from 12pm - 6pm! Organizers are hoping to take advantage of San Francisco's notoriously hot warm mild bearable summer weather, with new daytime activities and features, like...

• Street shutdown! Steiner Street between Haight and Waller will be closed to traffic, so expect a block's worth of fun for the whole family.
• Peacock Lounge Open House! The mysterious, magical Peacock Lounge celebrates the completion of its recent renovations with a potluck-style open house at 3pm.
• Plus art openings, discounts, fortune telling, a skate park, a scavenger hunt... we could go on and on.
