Is the N-Judah Express Bus Working?
Seven weeks after the Nx-Judah express bus line launched, Muni is touting growing ridership and faster trip times than expected. But our question is, how is it affecting things here in the Lower Haight?

The service, which operates only during weekday rush hours, makes stops along the N-Judah route from the Outer Sunset to 19th Avenue, after which it runs express to the financial district. The goal was to both provide a faster commute for riders who live along the N's outermost reaches, and reduce crowding for us folks who board further down the line. An SF Public Press article published yesterday provides anecdotal evidence of the Nx's success, quoting several happy Outer Sunset residents who praise the new service. But what about us? If you regularly board the N-Judah at either end of Duboce Ave, or even Cole Valley for that matter, have you noticed any difference in your AM or PM commutes? Do the trains seem less crowded and/or easier to board? Or is it the same old game of chance every morning? We want to know what you think -- so, do tell.
