Ed Lee's Campaign Takes Over Former Trunk Space
Mayor Ed Lee's campaign for the November election has apparently taken over the space at 544 Haight Street, formerly home to clothing boutique Trunk.

The address has been vacant since Trunk shuttered in January. Now it appears the Lee campaign is setting up a field office in the space. A table with campaign materials can be spotted inside, and several posters declaring "Ed Lee Gets it Done" hang in the front window. To be sure, this is just a temporary rental -- the 1,000 square-foot space is still being listed on Craigslist for $3,000 a month. According to the ad, the space "will be available mid-November" -- right after the election, naturally.
