At the risk of inundating you with too many Ed Lee-related stories in one month, we thought you should know that the mayor will be in the Lower Haight tomorrow morning to open a campaign office at 544 Haight Street.
As we noted on Thursday, the campaign is taking over the space, which was formerly the home of boutique Trunk, through the November election. This will be the Lee campaign's second neighborhood office, the first opening in the Richmond this morning. The campaign's headquarters, at 1565 Mission St, opened in late June. They plan to roll out several more neighborhood offices next weekend. As for tomorrow (Sunday), the Lower Haight office is scheduled to open at 10am, with the mayor in attendance. Neighbors and residents who want to meet Ed Lee and/or volunteer are invited to swing by. (Whether the opening will be followed by another Lower Haight pub crawl remains to be seen.)
