Alamo Square "Totally 80s" Soiree Tonight
Tonight, in a big old mansion at the corner of Grove and Steiner, re-live the most totally radical decade ever -- and, like, raise some money for Alamo Square Park while you're at it.

It's the 1st Annual Totally '80s Soiree, a party being thrown by the Alamo Square Neighborhood Association. This party should be, like, really gnarly. We're talking:
  • An 80s-inspired music set from DJ B Smiley
  • DJ/Artists Rene Garcia and Robbie Socks
  • Live acoustic music by The Divisadero Lounge Lizards
  • A John Hughes movie room playing The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and Pretty in Pink
  • An 80s video game room full of classic arcade games
  • And more!
Funds from the event go to improving the park (no duh!) -- which is pretty bitchin'. So, you should be at least somewhat stoked, if not to the max. This righteous shindig is scheduled to run from 7pm to midnight. If you're 21 or over (sorry kids), you can grab your $15 tickets here. Cowabunga dudes!
