Fecal Face Dot Gallery Reopening Tomorrow... Sort Of

Fecal Face's new space, pre-makeover
Fecal Face Dot Gallery, one of four businesses forced to close due to the September 27th fire at Haight and Fillmore, is reopening tomorrow -- though not at its former location.

Instead, the gallery is temporarily relocating to the Inner Richmond -- 248 Clement Street, at 4th Avenue. There, it will play host to Everything Under the Sun, the first-ever solo show by the Lower Haight's own Mario Martinez (a.k.a. Mars-1). Also opening tomorrow night in the front section of the space will be a new group show, dubbed 11.11.11, featuring works by ten artists from around the world. There will be complimentary drinks courtesy of Blue Angel Vodka, free tacos from El Tonayense food truck, and live music from BLKTOP Project. This all goes down from 6pm to 9pm, tomorrow (Friday) night. We rarely endorse venturing outside the neighborhood, but we'll definitely make an exception for this one -- in part because FFDG insists that the relocation is only temporary. They'll be coming back to the Lower Haight once 248 Fillmore is ready to be occupied again.
