Here's something to be thankful for: Three Twins Ice Cream will be returning to Fillmore Street today -- albeit briefly.
Their store, which has been closed since September 27th due to the fire at Haight and Fillmore, isn't re-opening just yet. Instead, you'll find their ice cream across the street, in a freezer truck parked in front of Indian Oven. From 4pm to 7pm today, they'll be selling $5 pints of flavors you can't find in stores, like Burnt Caramel, Stormy Night, Egg Nog, Pumpkin Pie, and Rice Milk Lemon Cookie. OK, so it's not quite a full-fledged re-opening, but we'll take what we can get. (And when that re-opening does happen, you better believe we'll let you know.)
