Last weekend, artist Jeremy Fish (of pink bunny fame) installed a new holiday display in the windows of Upper Playground. Let's just say it involves taxidermy and sweatshirts. Go check it out.
In other local artist news, this week the Bold Italic spent a few hours with Jeremy Novy, the artist behind all the koi stencils that pepper the neighborhood. If you're a fan of street art, it's definitely worth a read.

Tomorrow night, Underground SF (424 Haight) hosts Pop Brownie: A Night of 90s Joints. The event promises "the best 90s R&B and hip hop jams for all you ho ho hos," plus some holiday classics added to the mix. It's 10pm to 2am, and cover is $5, although it's free before 10:30pm.
