Photos of 5-Alarm Fire Near Alamo Square

A 5-alarm fire broke out around noon today at 1502 Golden Gate Ave just west of Pierce, and as of this posting firefighters have yet to bring the blaze under control.

Haighteration reader Ryan B. happened to be nearby with his camera when the fire began, and sent us the following photos he was able to snap before firefighters cleared spectators from the scene. SFist has ongoing coverage of the fire, as well as still shots from overhead video (courtesy of those three helicopters currently circling the area). Like everyone else, we'll keep an eye on this one.
