Silky Touch Salon Moves From Fillmore to Haight
Silky Touch not only holds the title of kinkiest business name in the Lower Haight (sorry, Scents-U-All), but now the salon has a shiny new address to boot.

As of today, the salon has officially relocated from 316 Fillmore, where it had been since 2007, to 544 Haight Street. You may recognize that address as the former home of Trunk, which closed in January, and more recently as a regional campaign office for Mayor Ed Lee. No word on the specific reason for the move, though the new space is larger than the Fillmore location (1,000 square feet, according to a recent rental listing, vs. 700), and obviously Haight Street is far busier, foot traffic-wise. Silky Touch is having a 10%-off sale to celebrate its grand opening, so go get that pre-holiday mani-pedi, and let us know if the new location lives up to your most silky expectations.
