We've gone what, six days without mentioning ice cream? It's outrageous. Thankfully, Three Twins returns to the neighborhood this afternoon to put the "ice" back in your solstice. And then add "cream" to it.

Today from 4pm to 7pm, Three Twins will be selling pints of their chilly creations out of a truck parked in front of Indian Oven (233 Fillmore). That's directly across from their old shop, which has been closed since September 27th due to you know what. Available today will be pints of their 10 standard flavors for $5 each, plus pints of specialty flavors for $6 each. Those will reportedly include Burnt Caramel, Chocolate Orange Confetti, Land of Milk and Honey, Stormy Night, and Rice Milk Stormy Night. Finally, there will be mint confetti ice cream pies available for $30, though they suggest ordering those in advance. It'll be a big evening in the Lower Haight, what with this happening and Maven opening simultaneously. Looks like the longest night of the year could also prove to be the most delicious.
