Pop-Up Magazine, an interactive art experience, is returning to San Francisco for a live performance on April 25 at the Davies Symphony Hall.

Self-described as "the world's first live magazine, created for a stage, a screen, and a live audience," Pop-Up Magazine mixes multiple forms of art and media by different writers, artists and producers into a 90 minute show. Don't even bother bringing your camera because they're not allowed. Pop-Up tries hard to make the experience a one-time thing that can't be documented or recreated. Immediately following the event, everyone moves toward the lobby bar where they can mix and mingle and get some questions answered by the writers and performers. Editor-in-Chief Douglas McGray, a writer who's known for his work in The Atlantic and The New Yorker, organizes the agenda and releases few details before the event. Being held multiple times since its debut in April 2009, Issue 6 (the edition of this performance) was recently announced and tickets go on sale from their website on April 3 at 12pm. To get more info or learn about purchasing tickets, visit their website, like them on Facebook or follow them on Twitter.
