Last weekend was jam-packed. The weather kept you outside (or inside if you have bad allergies), the Urban Air Market tempted you to buy, the Kentucky Derby gave us one of the best-named winners in history (I'll Have Another) and Cinco de Mayo will make you second-guess drinking this weekend. Let's slow it down and enjoy Mother's Day weekend with a few events that remind us of the one thing a mother will always say. No, not "I love you." The other thing: "Clean your room."

COMPOSTING WORKSHOP | Page Street Garden Curious how to create a garden made out of your own compost? Your day has finally come. Garden for the Environment and the Page Street Community Garden are putting on a fun workshop from 10am-12pm this Saturday. Learn how to build your garden without chemicals or pesticide. [438 Page] GARAGE SALE | Tse Chen Ling Center for Tibetan Buddhist Studies Remember when Haighteration reported that the Buddhist Temple was up for sale? It looks like they're getting started this weekend by cleaning house. Stop by the Tse Chen Ling Center on Saturday from 8am-4pm and help them make room for their new space. A reader tells us there will be "a lot of very interesting, esoteric Tibetan Buddhist items." Get us something nice. [399 Webster]
