It's back!
The Brewtruc Charity Beer Garden returns to the parking lot behind 160 Church Street, former home of Blockbuster, this Saturday.
From 1pm to 6pm, expect craft beer, food trucks, music and fun -- all for a good cause, of course. Your $20 donation gets you a cup and 10 tickets redeemable for beer tastings of your choice. On hand will be craft brews from the likes of Stone, Southern Pacific, Iron Springs, Mill Valley Beerworks, and Lagunitas. Plus, there will be food for sale from Casey's Pizza, Phat Thai, and Tres Truck, as well as a pop-up from Starbelly's executive chef Adam Timney, and live zydeco music to drown out all that chewing and swallowing. The event is the latest in a series of beer gardens produced by brewtruc and supporting local charities. Saturday's extravaganza will benefit the Physicians Organizing Committee (P.O.C.), and what brewtruc describes as their "ongoing efforts to establish and defend the ethical practice of medicine." There are 750 tickets available, and the last one sold out. So, get your tickets here.
