Muni, coffee, construction and more -- change is afoot in the neighborhood this week. We've got it all in today's leftovers.
Let's see what's brewin'.
Tomorrow night (Saturday), swing by Mad Dog in the Fog for an AIDS Walk fundraising bash. There'll be a raffle, with prizes including a pair of Giants tickets and some D-Structure merch, plus beer specials and Mad Dog's own Brady Long holding it down as DJ for the night. That's 9pm to 2am at Mad Dog, 530 Haight. And if you can't make it, but still want to donate, you can do so here.
In case you weren't doing this already, starting Sunday you'll be allowed to board Muni buses and trains via the back doors as well as the front. Unless you're paying by cash, that is, in which case you'll still have to use the front.
The upcoming Four Barrel Coffee / Josey Baker Bread shop, The Mill, is still a couple of months away from opening at 736 Divisadero. But today, Four Barrel will begin operating a coffee cart at the location.

Josey tells us The Mill is aiming to open in August.
A Lower Haighter is looking to publish a zine about the neighborhood, and she's seeking submissions.
A year ago, we got a look at the rear penthouse at 467 Duboce, which had been converted from Wing's Steam Laundry into residential space. Now we finally get a glimpse at 471 Duboce, one of the townhouses downstairs, which has just hit the market. It's a 2-bed, 2.5-bath T.I.C., available for $969,000.
How does an amazing outdoor dinner with 9 of your friends sound? Check out this Gilt City deal for Ragazza, offering a private patio dinner for 10 including appetizers, salads, pizzas, pastas, dessert, and five bottles of wine -- all for $600.
Finally, a reader asked us what's up with renovations going on at 542 Divisadero, the former site of Tae Hee's Grooming Pet Supply: As it turns out, the space has been claimed by Bi-Rite, which will be opening a market next-door at 550 Divisadero next year (hopefully). A rep for Bi-Rite tells us the 542 location will be used as a "receiving entrance and storage area."
That's all you get. What else could there be? tips [at] haighteration {{dot}} com.
