As much as the N Judah can frustrate us, we sure have come to miss it over these past 9 days. Fortunately, the lengthy Muni shutdown will be coming to an end in just a matter of hours.
The N Judah has been out of service since May 25th, a result of the ongoing Church and Duboce Track Improvement Project. Additionally, the J-Church has been disrupted and the 22-Fillmore bus rerouted. As far as we can tell, the shutdown is on track (pun intended) to end just in time for your morning commute tomorrow -- 5am, to be precise. Hopefully, you'll notice a smoother ride into and out of the tunnel, plus improved experiences for biking, walking, and waiting at the intersection of Church and Duboce. Are you excited for the N's return (and the end of all that construction)? Or have you gotten used to avoiding the Church and Duboce area entirely? Let us know in the comments.
