Yesterday was just not a good day for San Francisco.
Around 1:50pm, a four-alarm fire erupted at Pier 29 along the Embarcadero. Later in the day, another fire took place in the Outer Mission. And finally, a water main erupted here in Hayes Valley. The main erupted around 6pm near Market & Gough. If you were in the neighborhood at the time, you were probably asking yourself, "What are all these helicopters doing over my place?" That's what they were doing. Monitoring the problem near Market Street. We couldn't get down there to snap any photos, but if you did, feel free to post them on our Facebook page. Let's hope the rest of the summer goes out like a lamb.
