Ella Fitzgerald once sang, "Summertime and the livin' is easy." Will Smith once rapped, "There's an air of love and happiness and this is the Fresh Prince's new defintion of summer madness." Whether you like your summers chill or slammin', here are some things to expect in the next few months.

PRIDE: We'll have more on this in a few days, but this weekend is one of the city's biggest celebrations of the year - San Francisco Pride. Many of the events take place in walking distance of Hayes Valley so enjoy as many as you can. FUTURE OF HAYES VALLEY FARM: Condos will most likely be approved this month to take over the space where the Hayes Valley Farm currently stands. As it stands, they're expected to be served a 60-day evacuation notice on Dec 1. The Farm is looking on the bright side and hoping to split up its content and spread it throughout the city. HAYES VALLEY BAKEWORKS: According to their Facebook page, they're aiming for an opening date of June 25. In the meantime, you can even leave a recommendation on their page. If you're craving anything specific, let them know. It could show up on their menu soon. NOSA RIA: A Spanish food & wine market is hoping to open this summer or fall. Get your appetites ready for acorn fed jamón ibérico soon.
What else should we know about?
