DragonEats, a new restaurant serving Vietnamese street food, opens today at 520 Gough. Located next to the brand new Hayes Valley Bakeworks, this northern stretch of Gough is seeing a lot of new additions recently. DragonEats is open Monday-Sunday from 8am-8pm. Their website doesn't seem to be in place yet, but soon as it's up and running, we'll link to it on here.
Chez Maman has added a new addition to their French bistro family and its new spot in Hayes Valley opens this Monday, July 16. Last month, Terra Cafe & Bakery put up a sign that said they were changing management. A few weeks later, word got out that Chez Maman was moving into the corner spot at 401 Gough. According to GrubStreetSF, "chef Russell Cab, who's also worked at owner Jocelyn Bulow's Potrero Mexican spot Papito's, is going to be mixing up the menu for the new spot including Chez Maman classics like the burger and mussels with things like quesadillas and tacos." Stop by next Monday to see what ends up on the final menu.
