Gourmet Walks is an award-winning local company that hosts "fun foodie tours" in a few neighborhoods. Being the food mecca we've become, the company holds several tours in Hayes Valley to show off a few of our cafes, restaurants and bars (yes, a cocktail is involved so you must be 21+). Each tour lasts 3 hours and takes place on Friday and Sunday at 2:30pm (and Tuesday and Thursday at 11am in the summer). With 7 stops at places like Smitten, Fatted Calf, Hayes & Kebab and Smuggler's Cove, you will be able to roll into your bed afterwards with a full stomach. Limited to 12 people per tour, the group begins at Patricia's Green and ends at Hayes & Gough. They make sure to point out that the route is completely flat and there's time to take breaks and nosh on everything you get. Tickets are priced at $68 and must be purchased in advance.
