Any idea who's gonna get your vote for District 5 Supervisor this November? No? Then pay attention tonight, as the candidates go head-to-head in a potentially-fierce but probably-amicable debate.
Slated from 7pm to 9pm tonight, the debate is being hosted by the Harvey Milk LGBT Democratic Club, and moderated by transgender artist Ben MCoy and Bay Guardian managing editor Marke Bieschke. It's scheduled to feature questions from the Milk Club board as well as written questions submitted by the audience -- so if you have something you'd like to ask, bring it. All 8 candidates for Supervisor have said they will attend. They are: London Breed, Julian Davis, Daniel Everett, Hope Johnson, Christina Olague, Andrew Ellard Resignato, John Rizzo, and Thea Selby. Curiously, this D5 debate will actually take place in D6, at the Eric Quezada Center at 518 Valencia Street. But no word on whether any future debates will take place closer to home, so this one might be worth the hike.
