Candidates For Supervisor Open Lower Haight Headquarters
Two candidates running for District 5 Supervisor have opened headquarters in the Lower Haight in recent days.

On Friday, the Thea Selby campaign (which, full disclosure, advertises on Haighteration), opened its headquarters at 791 Haight Street. That's the former home of the P-Kok Nova boutique, which was consolidated with another P-Kok location across the street earlier this year.
A day later, and just a block eastward, the campaign of Julian Davis held a grand opening event at 609A Haight Street. You may recall that the address was recently listed for rent along with 607A Haight Street, the former home of the Vapor Room. A total of eight candidates successfully filed to run for the District 5 seat, but these two are the only campaign headquarters we've heard of thus far. When the remaining six inevitably open in the Lower Haight, we'll let you know.
