There's an election coming up and we have an opportunity to ask the candidates some questions.
Sure, you probably know about Obama and Romney running for President. And you might have heard that Roseanne Barr is running too. (No. Seriously. We're not making that up.) While it's easy to get wrapped up in the national election, we don't want to forget about one happening a lot closer to home. This November, we're electing our District 5 representative to the Board of Supervisors. And we just so happen to be in the same district as our sister sites, Haighteration and Uppercasing. We reached out to the candidates and they agreed to answer some questions from our respective neighborhoods. Here's where you come in. We want you to come up with some questions for the candidates related to Hayes Valley. If you could ask about something that would get answered by those running for the BOS, what would it be? Crime? Muni? Patricia's Green? Proxy Project? Construction? Anything else? And here's how we'll accomplish this together. 1) Submit questions by either commenting below or emailing us at tips [at] hayeswire {{dot}} com (if you want to keep your question private). 2) You can ask as many questions as you'd like 3) Keep questions to 1-2 sentences if possible Send us your questions by Wednesday, September 5 and then we'll pick 4-5 of our favorites and pass them along to the candidates.
