Looking for something different to do in the neighborhood tonight? Here's a two-fer.

First, at 6pm, the Harvey Milk Photo Center hosts a Community Awareness Safety Meeting. Recent incidents in the area, like an assault and mugging last week near Duboce Park, have many residents understandably on edge. SFPD Captain Greg Corrales and Lt. Alex O'Brien will be on hand to answer questions and provide tips for staying safe. That's at the Harvey Milk Center at 50 Scott Street, from 6pm to 7pm. Then, at 8pm, the Peacock Lounge is the site of GLAM HARD(ing), a glam rock night in support of N.D.Divis's campaign to save the Harding Theater. The event is slated to feature live music, dance tracks from DJ Fong Jovi, a photobooth, raffle, and more. $20 at the door, or as little as $10 online. Anything else going on in the neighborhood tonight? Let us know in the comments.
