Congrats to one of our Hayes Valley businesses for winning a tourism grant!
For the third consecutive year, the San Francisco Travel Association has selected local businesses to receive their Neighborhood Partnership Grants. Described by the Association, the purpose of the grant is to "extend the economic impact of San Francisco’s tourism industry into the city’s diverse neighborhoods and involve more businesses located outside the traditional visitor areas in San Francisco Travel’s programs." And who was one of this year's ten recipients? Oh, just our friends down at Streets of San Francisco Bike Tours (SoSF). SoSF is known for providing fun and unique bike tours that take you away from the usual suspects of tourist spots and out into the neighborhoods. As a winner, SoSF will receive a few benefits such as partnerships in the community, inclusion in online publications and listings and personal mentoring from staff and established travel partners. If you're interested in learning more about SoSF or taking a tour yourself, stop by their home at the Proxy Project next to the Biergarten (Octavia & Linden). Congrats again!
