ROTUNDA DANCE SERIES | City Hall Did you know City Hall showcases a dance performance on the first Friday of the month? Neither did we. Today at 12pm, the Duniya Dance & Drum Company perform & teach "traditional and innovative performance pieces from Guinea, West Africa and Punjab, India." Goodlett Place] PARTY LIKE IT'S 1906 | McRoskey Mattress Company A trio of organizations are co-hosting a book reading for "A Paradise Built in Hell: The Extraordinary Communities That Arise in Disaster." It examines the bravery and altruism that follows a natural disaster, with a focus on our 1906 earthquake. It's sponsored by McRoskey, The Green Arcade, and the SF Public Library. And there will 1906-themed food. It's tonight at 7pm and you're so there. [1687 Market] SUNDAY STREETS | Western Addition The big event is coming to a neighborhood near us. Created to mix healthy living, walking spaces, and fun, Sunday Streets is taking place near/around Alamo Square from 11am-4pm. We're telling you this for two reasons. It's relatively close and accessible by foot or bike, and a lot of streets you might use will be closed. Check out their map for all the specifics. [Several Streets]
