Don't panic -- at least not yet -- but five large discs have appeared at the Duboce Park Muni stop, their origin and purpose unknown.
As of last night, the pods remained sheathed in plastic shrouds, presumably gathering strength in slumber mode while awaiting the right moment to execute their plan for interplanetary conquest.
Of course, it would be reasonable to conclude that these are just round benches being installed by the SFMTA. Or maybe that's what our aspiring alien overlords would have us believe.
