A new clothing line is coming to Fell Street.
Artful Gentleman is the name of a new clothing initiative by Jake Wall and his team of designers. With the description of "custom suits that fit your personality," Artful aims to help men find style that complements their individuality. And this team has hit the ground running. Jake told us they were selected to participate in San Francisco Fashion Week. As he puts it, "We were honored to be selected as the emerging designer to watch for bespoke (custom) menswear and will be showing a key selection from our new collection on the closing night of SFFW as part of the grand couture runway show." They'll be showcasing their line this Sunday, September 30 at 6:30pm. If you want to check it out and attend an SFFW event, you can get tickets here. If a fashion show isn't up your alley, you can help welcome them after they're done strutting their stuff. Jake and his team are hosting an After Party that evening at The Office (above Churchill on Church & Market). It starts at 8:30pm, features DJ Don Lynch, will have a photobooth and claims to have fashion surprises. RSVP on their Facebook page to join. After Fashion week is over, they will settle into their space on Fell. Jake tells us "We have created a shop within a shop that we really think of as more of a atelier space, if anything. We are thrilled to be in Hayes and to be bring bespoke menswear to the already impressive line-up of the neighborhood." They're planning on opening up shop after Fashion Week, so check them out in the upcoming weeks. They'll be available by appointment only so give them a holler at [email protected] or (415) 527-7611.
