A few Muni routes that run through Hayes Valley will be slightly altered for the next few months... and as a nice surprise, it has nothing to do with Muni.
Beginning today and scheduled to last until December 1, the 6, 71 and 71L will make one fewer stop on Page Street. Due to construction, inbound busses will no longer stop at the corner of Page and Franklin... and we can only assume it's because the 1600 Market project is gearing up for construction. There will be no change to outbound busses heading up the hill along Haight Street, so you can still board in that general part of town to get to the Lower Haight, Upper Haight or Cole Valley.
