AT&T Looking to Improve Coverage in Hayes Valley
Potential good news for phone-toting AT&T customers in Hayes Valley: the company is planning to install new antennas that would likely improve coverage in the neighborhood.

Notices have been posted on the 500 block of Laguna (pictured above) announcing an upcoming hearing before the Planning Commission for:
"A PROPOSED WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICE FACILITY OPERATED BY AT&T MOBILITY. THE FACILITY WOULD CONSIST OF THREE ROOF-MOUNTED PANEL ANTENNAS AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT LOCATED IN THE BASEMENT."
The hearing to consider approval of the project is slated for Thursday, November 8, at 10am in room 400 of City Hall. So if you care one way or the other, that's your chance to speak up. We'll keep an eye on it and will let you know whether the antennas get approved.
