A new mural measuring 2400 square feet was painted this week on a wall behind Flax Art & Design on Market Street. And the photo above shows less than half of it.
According to Flax's website, the mural was painted in just two days by a duo of German artists known as Herakut. It's the seventh mural in a series that Herakut is creating around the world, depicting characters in an upcoming children's book. The Flax mural appears to feature a monkey-toting hero in a monkey disguise fleeing from the approaching clutches of a multi-headed serpent, maybe?
