GrubStreet reported that the new SliderBar Cafe in the Castro at 16th and Market has soft-opened and will be having their grand opening this Thursday. I walked down there around 10PM to see if they were still open, but when I walked in the host told me they were just wrapping up for the night. I asked him when they would be open tomorrow, Wednesday and for the grand opening. He said they would be open 6-9PM through Tuesday with Grand Opening actually happening on Wednesday from 2-11PM. I'll get confirmation on whether the host was incorrect or not. For now I'd go with GrubStreet's report.
