Did you know that the building that currently houses the Zen Center at Page and Laguna was designed by architect Julia Morgan, whose other works include Hearst Castle and the Fairmont Hotel? Well, now you do. But you can learn so much more tomorrow night!

That's when the Zen Center will host an event as part of a statewide, month-long celebration of Morgan. It's titled The Architecture of Julia Morgan and Sacred Spaces, and it'll feature a panel of architects discussing Morgan's work and the architecture of sacred spaces. The event begins at 7:30pm, and costs $25 per person ($20 members/students). For more on Morgan, her work, and events celebrating her this month, visit landmarkscalifornia.org.
