In case you missed it, here's a round-up of a few recent developments in the local restaurant scene.

Eater reports that, after 15 years as partners at Jardiniere, Traci Des Jardins bought out Pat Kuleto's share of the restaurant. Des Jardins tells Eater that updates to the restaurant's design and menu (including smaller portion sizes) are likely en route. Also via Eater, this month Patxi's will be upgrading its line-up of thin-crust pizzas, replacing them with more "authentic-style Italian pies." The new crusts are described as "made with extra fine ‘Double Zero’ flour and hand pulled to perfection." To perfection! Finally, Rich Table got a pretty rare 3.5-star review from the Chronicle's top food critic, Michael Bauer. Bauer declares it "the next Frances," noting that "only once in a blue moon does a restaurant like this come along." Pretty high praise, indeed. Any other culinary news we missed this week?
