Three Events For Your Saturday
Need some weekend plans? We've got three Lower Haighty events destined to rock your Saturday's face off.

First up, of course, it's the Urban Air Market. From 11am to 6pm today, Haight Street between Pierce and Fillmore will teem with independent vendors and local merchants selling clothing, jewelry, accessories and more. From the very mystical 1:11pm to 1:11am, The Center SF (548 Fillmore) hosts a 1 Year Anniversary Celebration. Dubbed "The Concentric Carnival of Light," the event will feature music, food and drinks, carnival games, mini-workshops, and three ritual theater light ceremonies (!!). There's a $15 suggested donation to attend, but that drops to $10 if you wear masquerade of carney attire. So. Finally, celebrate DSF's 6 year anniversary tonight at Public Works. The party's music lineup will include Motown on Monday DJs, DJ Oli, Nickodemus, and Afrolicious. Plus it's a DSF party, so you can probably expect drinks, giveaways, and high-fives. It runs 9pm to 3am at Public Works, 161 Erie Street. So there you go -- plenty of ways to celebrate in and near the Lower Haight. (Rhyming optional.)
