Shopping, learning, and celebrating -- we've got three great ways for you to spend the afternoon in Hayes Valley today.

From 12pm to 6pm, Oxenrose (448 Grove) and Kappa Zakka (460 Grove) will be co-hosting a Vintage Pop-Up Shop in both of their stores. There'll be mens and women's clothing from four vendors, jewelry by Sal Sal, and other items. Plus, small snacks, beer, wine, and music to enjoy while you shop. From 12pm to 5pm, Hayes Valley Farm (450 Laguna) hosts "Water, Climate and Going Vertical", a discussion of the specific climates of San Francisco and how they affect water conservation, crop selection, and space usage. Today's event is lead by instructors Jay Rosenberg and Rob Joyce, and costs $25. Finally, from 2pm to 6pm, new Spanish market Nosa Ria (500 Laguna) will be celebrating both its store opening and Fiesta Nacional, Spain's holiday honoring Columbus. They'll have paella, fideua and other nibbles and libations -- plus a performance by Flamenco guitarist Roberto Aguilar. So, lots of options for a (hopefully) sunny Saturday in Hayes Valley. Enjoy!
