A huge daytime costume party, the 39th Castro Street Fair fills the streets of the Castro with several stages of entertainment, unique costumes, art, food and encourages everyone to bring a little of their inner freak to the festivities. Experience a full day of live music, strange opera performances, DJs, an urban cowboy and cowgirl country western dance stages, plus carnival acts at Barnaby’s World of Wonderment (18th between Hartford and Noe) with acts like sword swallowers, burlesque dancers, glass eaters, and a freak petting zoo. The cost is FREE, but a donation will get you $1 off at Official Castro Street Fair Beverage Booths. Happy Castro Street Fair! The Castro Street Fair opens at 11AM today.
