A local beverage maker will be roaming Hayes Valley today doling out free cups of holiday cheer.
The company is called Reorient, and describes itself as "a local wellness company specializing in freshly-made herbal beverages for health & beauty." This morning, from 10am to 10:30am, Reorient will be setting up shop at Makeshift Society (235 Gough, between Fell and Oak), giving out free cups of its winter blend beverage to any residents who stop by with their own mug or thermos. "Inspired by Turkish tea vendors that go around the streets with kettle of teas to pour," they'll then head out around the neighborhood, dropping by various Hayes Valley shops with their brew. So if you're around the neighborhood and want a free hot beverage, grab a mug and head to Makeshift this morning. Then, as usual, come back here and tell us how it went.
