A fire broke out at a house on the south side of Oak Street this morning just before 3am, KRON reports.

KRON says the 1-alarm fire, which was reported at 2:47am, began between two buildings and spread. One building was a law office, and another was a vacant home. A KGO report mentions unconfirmed claims that the fire may have originated with a Christmas tree on the street being set ablaze. By 5:36am, the fire was controlled, and no impact on traffic was expected. No injuries were reported, and no residents were displaced. The exact address of the fire hasn't been reported, but at 3:06am, Straw, the restaurant at 203 Octavia, tweeted the following: From that description and the photo, it looks like 251-255 Oak to us. We'll update if there are any additional developments.
