Looking to open a bar or market in the Hayes Valley area? Well listen up, because a couple of noteworthy local retail spaces are now up for rent.

First up is 61 Gough Street (pictured above), previously the home of Go Getters Market, which has been closed for almost three years. According to its rental listing, the one-story space at the corner of Gough and Haight measures 1,900 square feet. It has been "completely renovated" and features a "plentiful amount of windows and skylights [that] allow for an abundance of natural light." The space is listed for $7,600 a month. Next is 1655 Market Street, the former home of Buck Tavern, which closed on Halloween. The 2,400-square-foot location is described as an "intimate prime location restaurant space with some refrigeration, a full bar, two restrooms and space enough to make your custom touches come to life. An excellent opportunity!" They're looking for someone to sign a 10-year lease, with the rent negotiable. Know anybody who might be interested in either space? If so, spread the word.
