Unless we're using the wrong calendar, we're pretty sure today is February 9th.
And yet.
Today we spotted not one, not two, but three Christmas trees left out on the sidewalk on three separate blocks of Oak Street. Yes, even though it's nearly Valentine's Day, some folks have apparently been hanging onto the Christmas spirit longer than usual. We're not really sure what's prompting this sudden resurgence of tree abandonment, but Recology ended its curbside pickup of the trees on January 11th, so who knows whether they'll actually cart these stragglers away. This begs the question -- how long after the holidays do you get rid of your tree, readers who celebrate Christmas?
