Parties, ping-pong, beer and Breed -- there's plenty to fill your calendar this weekend in the Lower Haight.
Tonight, the monthly Push the Feeling party returns to Underground SF. There'll be a slew of DJs on hand, including La Vampires and Roche, plus residents YR SKULL and epicsauce DJs. That's 424 Haight, 9pm to 2am, with $5 cover after 10pm (free with RSVP before).
Also tonight, DSF (520 Haight) will be taken over once again by Berlin-style ping pong, courtesy of American Tripps. Details are few and far between on this one, but if past iterations are any guidance, we're guessing tunes, booze, and $5 cover.
Tomorrow (Saturday), meet your new Supervisor! London Breed will be holding office hours at Cafe International from 11:30am to 1pm. All Lower Haight residents are invited to swing by and chat with the Supe.
And finally, just a reminder that since today is the official first day of SF Beer Week, it's also the start of our neighborhood-wide pub crawl. Just visit any of the eight Lower Haight bars, and ask for the Haighteration punchcard. Then order a beer, (they might have a special discount for you if you ask nicely), and get your card punched. Rinse and repeat at as many bars in the neighborhood as you can over the 10 days of Beer Week. Then, join us for our Beer Week Bash at Underground SF on the 17th.
