Hot on the heels of the good news that Three Twins and Estela's could be reopening by June, we have a downer to report.
CVS, which is replacing Walgreens at 499 Haight, probably won't be opening until next year. Mike DeAngelis, Director of Public Relations for CVS, told us yesterday via email that the company will begin setting up shop around August, as the space still has several months of renovations ahead. Once they move in, they'll spend about four months remodeling. As such, the store "is scheduled to open early next year." So, that's a bummer.
