If you see a line of folks streaming down the 400 block of Haight Street on Saturday, there's a simple explanation: the grand opening of the new Zerofriends shop.

OK, so Zerofriends officially opened on February 22nd, but now it's time to celebrate. From noon to 7pm on Saturday, they'll be hosting a party that's "fun and loose, like an unleashed puppy." (Their words.) Artists Alex Pardee, Skinner, Dave Correia, and more will be on hand, creating and selling 8" x 10" sketches on the spot. Plus, they'll be giving away a special Pardee-designed leprechaun print to the first 50 people to spend $25 at the store, in honor of St. Patrick's Day eve. This happens at 419 Haight, this Saturday March 16th from noon to 7pm. If you haven't had a chance to check out the shop yet, it's as good a time as any -- should be quite a scene.
