And NIDA, and the spanking new Gant Rugger, not to mention some seriously delish eating spots, is the city's most stylish neighborhood. And to think that not so long ago a freeway emptied into the center of this hood."Hayes Valley outlasted Marina/Cow Hollow and the Mission in early rounds before defeating the Fillmore in the finals. Other neighborhoods in the competition included the Haight, Noe Valley, the Castro, and Nopa. While we don't know exactly how readers determined our stylish superiority, we'll happily take the title after losing last year's Curbed Cup to our frienemies in the Lower Haight.
