A couple of readers have asked what's filming at Zuni Cafe today. The answer: a pilot for a new HBO show about gay thirtysomethings.
Reader Rose G. sent in the above photo she snapped this afternoon at the cafe at 1658 Market. She asked some of the crew members what they were filming, and they confirmed that it's the HBO show in question. Over the weekend our pals at Haighteration noted that the show, which will center on an unlucky-in-love video game developer played by an actor from "Glee," will be shooting a scene in the Lower Haight on Wednesday, and Mission Mission confirms it will be shooting in the Mission this week as well.
